Transit times vary by destination. Sydney to Melbourne is typically 1–2 business days; Brisbane 1–3 days; Adelaide 2–4 days; Perth 3–6 days. We confirm the lead time when we respond to your enquiry. For race travel, we recommend shipping at least 5–7 days before the event to allow buffer time.
For any bike worth more than a few hundred dollars, yes. Standard carrier liability is capped at a low fixed amount and rarely covers a quality frame or full groupset. Declared value insurance costs a small fraction of the bike's value and covers damage in transit. We confirm the premium in the quote response — it's almost never a reason not to insure.
Yes — wheels, helmets, shoes, clothing and accessories can all be included in the same shipment. Include a note in the enquiry form listing what you want to ship and we'll factor it into the box size and freight cost. Separate boxes are sometimes needed for very large items.
Just bring the bike to us — we handle the rest. If you have pedals, a saddle bag or any loose items on the bike, leave them attached and note them in the form so we account for them in the pack. We'll remove anything that needs to come off for boxing and document it all before sealing.
Have your seller ship the bike to our workshop address: 54/76B Edinburgh Rd, Marrickville NSW 2204. When it arrives, we photograph it, check for transit damage, fully assemble and adjust it, then call you when it's ride-ready. Turnaround is typically 1–2 business days from receipt.
Yes — and we recommend arranging it before you leave Sydney. Tell us your event, venue and return date in the enquiry and we'll have everything pre-booked. On the last day you just drop the bike at the venue's shipping point. Your bike will be back at our workshop (or delivered to your door) within the standard transit time.
